Walter Crane 1845-1915 was an English artist and book illustrator he was born in Liverpool, England on 15 August 1845. He studied the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and was also a student of the artist and critic John Ruskin. He was part of the Arts and Crafts movement.
